AZTC President + CEO Steve Zylstra is in DC this week at the annual TechAmerica DC Fly-In to advocate for IT sector priorities on Capitol Hill during the organization’s annual fly-in to Washington, D.C. TechAmerica, the public sector and public advocacy department of CompTIA, works to provide a voice to tech companies on Capitol Hill.
Today Zylstra and members of his delegation met with Arizona Congressional representatives Sen. Jeff Flake, his counsel Gary Barnett and Stephanie Hall of Sen. John McCain’s office. Additional meetings were held with Rep. Raul Grijalva, Rep. Paul Gosar’s legislative director Jeff Small, Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, Rep. David Schweikert, Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, and Rep. Ruben Gallego.
Steve is accompanied by AZTC members Russ Yelton, chief executive officer of Pinnacle Transplant Technologies; Bill Hewitt, the vice president of strategic partnerships, R&D, with Tri-Merit; Sheila Kloefkorn, who is CEO and president of AZTC Platinum Sponsor KEO Marketing; Doug Guilbeau, the president and CEO of Levementum LLC; and Greg Garcia who is on the board of management of Invoy Technologies, LLC.
