New VP of IoT at Avnet
Lou Lutostanski has been promoted to the role of vice president of Internet of Things for Phoenix-based Avnet, a leading global technology distributor. In his new role, Lutostanski will strengthen the company’s IoT strategy and increase its reach to makers, entrepreneurs, startups and other innovators, enabling them to bring IoT solutions to market.
He most recently had been Avnet’s vice president of electronic component sales for the Americas and vice president of demand creation for the Americas.
Lutostanski joined Avnet nearly 30 years ago as a system sales manager before gaining increasing responsibility as a field applications engineer, sales manager, branch manager, and vice president and area director. He then went to Motorola before returning to Avnet in 2013.
Universal Avionics Hires New Sales Manager
Mike Marie has been appointed to the sales manager position of the central United States region for Tucson-based Universal Avionics.
Based in the Columbus, Ohio, area, Marie joins the company with more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry. Before joining the company, he worked for Sandel Avionics, DAC International, Avidyne, and Ryan International.
With the addition of Marie, Bruce Bunevich transitions to represent the Southeast region for Universal Avionics.
