About the program
The Zuggand AWS Internship/re:Engine(er) Program is designed to educate college students and those seeking to accelerate their careers in Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies and capabilities. Participants will complete in-person, technical training classes led by Zuggand’s AWS certified engineers and will gain hands-on experience using AWS.
Using proven best practices and development toolkits, you will learn about Cloud computing and how to architect, design, and develop Cloud-based environments using AWS. In addition to the technical training, Zuggand will support all students with mentoring, soft work skills, and career opportunities.
What participants will learn
Zuggand’s re:engine(er) program is designed to help fast track AWS Cloud learning. You will work closely with Zuggand’s world-class AWS Architects to cover everything you need to become a certified AWS Solution Architect Associate. Beyond the core materials required to pass the exam, we use real world examples and you will build a highly available, highly scalable web application environment from scratch so you will have hands on skills & experience needed.

While there is no guarantee of a job offer after tcompletion of the program, Zuggand will offer a limited number of opportunities to work at Zuggand depending on your certification level, skills and job requirements. Zuggand has also developed an internal AWS career path so you can accelerate at a pace that works for you.

The AWS Internship/re:Engine(er) Program is an eight-week, in-person training program that starts on April 11, 2020. Details about meeting times and location are below.

Final Day: May 30, 2020
Meeting Times: Every Saturday (7.30am – 1.00pm)

The standard cost to enroll in the training program is $3,500. In addition to the enrollment cost, all students will be responsible for the following:
• $150 each time you register for an AWS exam; and
• $50-$100 for course content, practice exams and other costs associated with running your own AWS account.
Zuggand is also offering different potential employment options that, if you are determined eligible, could reduce your cost to join the program (see below).
To be successful in the program, you will need:
• Some technical skills and experience with a serious passion about technology
• A working laptop with administrative rights on it
• A smart phone for the purpose of setting up multi-factor Authentication on your AWS account
• A debit or credit card to setup your AWS account and purchase additional course materials and exams
• To spend five hours every Saturday and 10 hours during the week to study, complete practice labs and review materials
• A commitment to attempt the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certificate exam at the end of the program
• A great attitude, an open mind, eagerness to learn and a sense of humor helps
