What SRP is doing about COVID-19
SRP knows that residential and business customers are being greatly impacted by this unforeseen event. Because of this, SRP will not turn customers’ power off for non-payment during the COVID-19 pandemic. SRP will also waive all late payment fees. This applies to both residential and commercial customers. SRP will attempt to contact customers who are currently disconnected for non-payment to ensure a safe reconnection. If your power is currently off for non-payment and SRP was unable to reach you, or you have not been contacted yet, please call SRP 24/7 at (602) 236-8888. Some customers may still see late fees on their upcoming bills. If there is a late payment fee on your bill, please call SRP to have it removed.

If you are having difficulty paying you electric bill, what should you do?
If you are having difficulty paying your electric bill for any reason, SRP encourages you to notify them as quickly as possible so they can make arrangements that can help you avoid a worsening financial situation. Call SRP 24/7, even on holidays, at (602) 236-8888. Their experienced customer service representatives and customer resource counselors have considerable flexibility to meet your unique needs and go to great lengths to keep you in power, including granting payment extensions if you request additional time to pay your bill. You can also request an extension online. Payment extensions provide additional time past the due date for you to pay your bill. You are eligible for up to six extensions per year. SRP’s customer resource counselors also work closely with community action agencies to assist customers with possible utility assistance as well as other critical needs, such as food, and are empowered to suspend all credit action against an account while they are providing assistance to  customers.
