Arizona Health & Medical Technology Expo

The Arizona Health & Medical Technology (AZHMT) Summit focuses on cutting-edge healthcare topics and showcasing the latest advanced technology in the medical field. Arizona Middle School Science Bowl

The Arizona Middle School Science Bowl encourages students to expand their knowledge of math and science, exposes students to opportunities in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields, and raises the visibility of academic achievement through a prestigious academic event. In this statewide academic competition, middle school students compete in a fast-paced verbal forum to solve technical problems and answer questions in all branches of science and math. Winners of the Arizona regional event receive the opportunity to compete at the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. For more information, click here.

Arizona Science & Engineering Fair

The Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) is a being held Tuesday, April 3 - Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Phoenix Convention Center South Building. Thousands of students from all over Arizona have competed for the opportunity to be one of the 1300 students to present their research at this statewide science fair. Judging occurs on Tuesday, April 3 and the Fair is open to the public all day Wednesday, April 4. The awards ceremony begins at 5pm on April 4 and culminates with the announcement of the top high school students selected to represent Arizona at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. This all expense paid trip for the students and their teachers will take place the week of May 13-17, 2012 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For more information, click here.

Arizona SciTech Festival

The Arizona Scitech Festival showcases Arizona as a national leader in science, technology and innovation through a series of events taking place during the month of February 2012. Spearheaded by the Arizona Technology Council Foundation in partnership with Arizona State University and Arizona Science Center, the Arizona SciTech Festival is a grass roots collaboration of over 200 organizations in industry, academia, arts, community and K-12, geared to excite and inform Arizonans ages three to 103 about how science, technology and innovation will drive our state for the next 100 years. AZTC Career Summit

The Arizona Technology Council, in partnership with Renaissance Personnel Group and Career Connectors, is excited to announce its second annual Career Summit, taking place Thursday, March 29, 2012 at ASU SkySong. The Career Summit is designed to educate both job seekers and hiring companies on the ever changing job market in Arizona. This year's Summit will feature representatives from some of the Valley's leading companies highlighting their internal hiring practices to advise job seekers and prospective applicants how to get an edge on the competition. Business + IT Expo and CIO of the Year Awards

In conjunction with the Phoenix Business Journal, the Business + IT Expo and CIO of the Year Awards is one of the largest technology-focused events in the state of Arizona. The Business + IT Expo is an exhibition of over 50 technology companies, complete with breakout sessions and networking. The CIO of the Year Awards directly follow the Business + IT Expo, beginning with a cocktail reception and then a theatre-style awards program. CEO Retreat

Escape the heat and head up to Red Rock Country for the Council's two day CEO Retreat that gathers business owners, presidents and CEOs for golf, networking and panel discussions. The first day invites CEOs to play in a golf scramble with prizes including closest to the pin and longest drive, followed by a networking reception. The second day of the CEO Retreat features two panel discussions led by a notable Arizona CEOs and a luncheon keynote address by a high-profile business leader. For more information, click here.

Governor's Celebration of Innovation

In partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority, the Governor's Celebration of Innovation (GCOI) is the Arizona Technology Council's awards gala that honors technology leaders and innovators from across the state. The event attracts more than 1,000 attendees each year for a night of networking, food and entertainment. The awards portion of the event is a theater-style presentation, followed by a sit down and plated dinner. For more information, click here.

Legislative Day

AZTC's annual Legislative Day gives state lawmakers the opportunity to meet with technology company leaders to hear their concerns about Arizona’s technology industry and to see how they can work together to address those issues. Held each March at the Old Capitol Building Ice Cream Parlor in downtown Phoenix, this lunch event draws about 75 officials interested in learning about and influencing public policy. Marketing Technology Summit

Presented by the Arizona Technology Council and the Phoenix chapter of the Business Marketing Association, the annual Marketing Technology Summit focuses on the unique marketing and technology requirements facing business marketers in the 21st century.
