Mentoring Program
The Arizona Technology Council and the Shea Group have created a Mentoring Program for Arizona Technology Council members. This program will strengthen and build a mentee’s business and personal success through mentor implemented learning. This service will be deployed in such a manner whereas business coaches and owners engage in a rigorous and structured coaching and mentoring regimen that focuses on value added results and a benefit to the Council's membership.
Program Length
Program length is one (1) year. Initial group will be limited to ten (10).
Basic Requirements
Mentee Requirements: 1) be an AZTC member in good standing 2) has been qualified for a mentee/mentor project through a selection process 3) Creates the following to prepare for an initial meeting with their assigned mentor (a a statement of why they want to join the program and what goals they expect to achieve (b) two assessment tests prior to committing to program: one test is a learning style test and the other is a natural capability test. (c) sign a confidentiality agreement.
Mentor Requirements: 1) be an AZTC member in good standing 2) has formally submitted their experience, qualifications, availability (time commitment) and reasons for joining the mentoring program to the Program Director 3) has been qualified and selected for a mentee/mentor project through ATC’s selection process 4) complete a non disclosure and confidentiality agreement. Once selected and assigned, the mentor creates a formalized document that states (a) specific time commitments and frequency and duration of each visit b) location of the mentor/mentee meetings (c) the stated goals of the mentor/mentee relationship.
Indemnification: All parties engaged in this program will be required to sign an indemnification agreement to ensure that mentors, mentees and sponsoring organizations are not exposed to personal or business liability as a result in participating in this program.
Application Process
The Arizona Technology Council is currently looking for both mentors and mentees. There is a $35.00 application fee (payable to the Arizona Technology Council) for those applying to be a mentee.
