Eligibility Rules

1. Application fees must be paid when nomination is submitted; deadline for submitting applications is July 30, 2010.

2. Entries are accepted for a single company and/or individual in more than one category, within the restrictions specified for each award category.

3. Each award category requires a separate online entry form, and separate payment. No additional materials or information will be accepted in the judging process.

4. Entries must be complete to be considered. If you are unable to provide requested information, please include a brief statement of explanation.

5. Eligible companies must be Arizona-based technology companies or divisions. They may be divisions of larger technology companies; however, all statistics and requirements must relate to the entrant's business division or entity only, not its parent company.

6. Eligible companies must be a going concern with at least one product or service commercially available and/or generating revenue. However, a company is not required to be making a profit to win. Note: this is not applicable to the Academia Innovator of the Year award category.

7. Evaluations are based on comparisons within a category, not against any set standard.

8. Winners must have a representative present at the event to receive their award.

9. The Arizona Technology Council reserves the right to change the category of an entry as it deems appropriate and to disallow any inappropriate entries.

10. The Arizona Technology Council reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules, enter ineligible categories or fail to make full payment – entry fees will not be refunded.

11. A processed entry is not eligible for refund.

12. Entrants may be required to participate in a video taping session. Companies will be notified in advance.

13. All entries must be submitted by Friday, July 30, 2010 (5:00pm) to be considered eligible.

14. The selection committee reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not represent the technology sector. For purposes of this award competition, technology companies are defined as those organizations that create, distribute, license technology or provide technological services to Arizona businesses.
