Don Rodriguez
Editor, TechConnect 

Don Rodriguez is Editor of TechConnect, The Arizona Technology Council's magazine that chronicles the advancement of technology and science in Arizona. In this role, he is responsible for all editorial content in the magazine.

Journalism definitely is his passion. Rodriguez previously was a veteran editor at The Arizona Republic, where he  was editor of two community magazines that were launched during his term. He also had been an editor in several newsroom departments as well as a recruiter for the company. Before moving to the Valley in 1989, he had been a reporter and copy editor at five other daily U.S. newspapers, including the Tucson Citizen in Southern Arizona.

With a long record of helping and mentoring young people to become working journalists, Don also is pursuing another interest: teaching. He created a journalism program for Phoenix College and began teaching students in fall 2006. Rodriguez looks forward to some of those students having their bylines appear in TechConnect.
