David Aires

David Aires is the manager of Factory Automation for the Intel Corporation global wafer fabrication facilities since January 2007.  Prior to this, he was the Plant Manager of Intel’s Fab 12 in Chandler. Arizona for 7 years.  During his time at Fab 12, he managed the conversion of Fab 12 from 200mm wafers to 300mm wafers, and ramped production output of Intel’s latest generation of new products, the Core2-Duo microprocessors, to full capacity.  He held factory manager positions in Fab 6 in Chandler and Fab 15 in Aloha, Oregon.  Aires has worked in various management positions in process engineering, manufacturing, and technology development at the Intel facilities located in Aloha, Oregon between 1980 and 1997.  Mr. Aires has been employed at the Intel Corporation for 27 years.
