Using proven hardware and software technologies, along with end-to-end services expertise, Datalink works closely with you to deliver server and storage solutions that maximize value. The Technical Architect role delivers value to corporate customers by merging technology and vision with the business and financial requirements to deliver solutions in today’s complex environment. Prior to joining Datalink, Dan was employed at Sun Microsystems for 13 years in various roles responsible for executing strategic technical sales and marketing campaigns in Arizona.

Dan is an Adjunct Professor at ASU and has fulfilled this role since 1997. One of the greatest methods for contributing to the next generation technology workforce is to contribute in its education. Dan has the unique opportunity to work in the technology industry by day, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the evening. He develops and delivers courses in Java Programming, Web, MySQL, and Unix Technologies and then applies them to real world requirements and experiences.

Dan obtained his Bachelor of Science, Computer Information Systems in December 1988; his Master of Science, Computer Information Systems in March 1990; and his Doctor of Philosophy, Business Administration in March 1995 - all from The W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University.

Dan is also involved in the community. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Arizona Technology Council, Former Co-Chair of the Workforce Development and Education Committee. Dan volunteers for FIRST Robotics, is founder and current consultant of the Phoenix Java User’s Group, and Founder of the Arizona System Administration Guild, Arizona SAGE.
