The Governor's Celebration of Innovation (GCOI) is an annual awards gala that honors Arizona's technology leaders and innovators. The event attracts more than 1000 attendees each year for a night of networking, food and entertainment. This year’s event will feature a mix of the old and new formats. GCOI will again feature a “strolling” dinner format
but will bring back a limited number of reserved tables for sponsors. The awards portion of the event will once again be a theatre style presentation. This year’s event will take place at the historic Orpheum Theatre on Thursday, November 19th.
GCOI celebrates innovation by businesses, academia and non-profit organizations working in Arizona’s technology sector. Often deemed the “Academy Awards” of technology and innovation, it is the premier event celebrating Arizona’s technology community.

4:00 – 5:30 PM | Registration/Networking/Cocktails
5:30 – 7:00 PM | Awards Program in main Theatre
7:00 – 10:00 PM | Strolling Dinner/Networking
8:30 – 10:30 PM | Backstage VIP After Party
VIP Back Stage After Party:
The party will begin at 8:30 PM and will be located on the Orpheum Theatre stage to give you a true “Back Stage” experience at the theatre. The party will feature live music from The Instant Classics, an open bar and a great laid back feel. The After Party is limited to award finalists, AZTC Board members, legislators, sponsors and VIP ticket holders. Remember to bring your dancing shoes for this great After Party!
