Event Description:

How is mobile traffic impacting your business? Half of the US population currently owns a smartphone, and further research has shown that almost 28% of Americans use their smartphone as their primary way of accessing the Web. Emerging technologies and the expanding mobile adoption among consumers have pushed mobile marketing to the forefront of the business strategy initiatives – for all industries.

Roughly 57% of consumers say they will not recommend a business with a poor mobile Website, and most mobile browsers spend 34% more time on a mobile optimized Website. With the staggering mobile growth over the past couple of years, including the tripling of smartphone and tablet ecommerce spending from Q4 in 2010 to Q4 in 2011, mobile optimization is quickly becoming a necessary strategic piece for any business.

During this Council Connect, we will be discussing mobile growth, mobile trends, and reviewing opportunities for your business to align the power of mobile to meet your business objectives.

The question is no longer when do businesses adopt mobile strategies?, but instead, how do businesses adopt the right mobile strategy? It is evident that even if mobile visitors aren’t currently the bulk of your website traffic, they soon will be. Will your business be ready?

Who Should Attend
Anyone and everyone with a smartphone and a vested interest in learning about mobile Web search and design to further their online business objectives.
