There are two key trends driving data storage today: Data growth and the loss of data.
Consider these two facts: Humans created 161 exabytes of data in 2006, approximately 3 million times the information in all the books ever written, according to IDC. Second, 80% of all movies made before 1940 are gone. With all of that data being created, how do we effectively manage the ever-growing data in our businesses and how do we prevent the loss of that data? We’ll explore trends in data storage and the changes that are driving powerful solutions to help manage this data and it’s loss. You’ll get some powerful ideas to use in your I.T. environment to help manage and protect your data now and for the future.
