Join other Arizona business, education and government leaders at the launch of the Arizona Innovation Institute, a collaborative project of the Arizona Technology Council Foundation and FarSight Group, specialists in creative thinking and innovation processes. This free event will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 7:30 to 10:00 AM at Telesphere's headquarters in Scottsdale. A continental breakfast will be served.
The Arizona Technology Council recognizes that two key components required to create jobs in Arizona are creativity and innovation. To build these capabilities, the Council, through its Foundation has established the Arizona Innovation Institute with the purpose of bringing creative thinking and innovation skills to Arizona's entire business community. The Institute will provide public classes in creative problem solving and innovation processes based on the creative strategic thinking and innovation
methods developed by FarSight Group of Scottsdale.
As an introduction to the upcoming classes, participants in the Grand Opening event will experience first-hand how to magnify their own creativity and imagination. Dr. George Land will personally conduct this learning event in Imaginative Thinking.
George Land is a recognized pioneer and practitioner in the field of creative thinking and innovation. For his contributions to science and business he had been elected a Senior Fellow, New York Academy of Science and The World Business Acadmey and is a Fellow of the Creative Education Foundation and a member of the Creativity Hall of Fame. Land is the author of the Pulitzer Price nominated book, Grow or Die: the Unifying Principle of Transformation.
