Event Description:


This interactive panel discussion will feature local practitioners using social media in their day-to-day employment branding and recruiting efforts as well as subject matter experts using social media from a sales, marketing or branding capacity within each of their organizations. This session will help you to see the functional way others are using social media and how to apply similar strategies within your own organization. You'll also have the opportunity to direct specific questions to each of the participating panelists.

If you are a recruiter, hiring manager, internal trainer or work closely with HR in your IT or Marketing role, this is a great opportunity to learn how to use social media for employment branding and recruitment to assist your company in staying ahead of the competition in talent management.

About the Panelists

Andrew Vess, Talent Acquisition Manager, Cox Communications
Andrew Vess currently serves as Talent Acquisition Manager for Cox Communications and has been with Cox for 4.5 years. He manages a team of seven and is responsible for statewide recruitment. Andrew has over 10 years of HR/Recruitment experience working for Wells Fargo and Charles Schwab prior to joining Cox Communications.

Claudia M. Reilly, National Program Manager, Recruitment, Avnet, Inc.
Claudia has worked in Human Resources for the last 20 years and most of those year have primarily focused on recruiting. For the last 10 years she has worked in the HR and Recruiting Department at Avnet. While with Avent she has been in various roles including HR Rep, Recruiter, Recruiting Manager, and currently Nat’l Program Mgr for HR and Recruitment. She is also a member of Avnet’s Global Social Media Council and has an undeniable passion for social media and how it partners with the recruiting and their overall business.

De Anne Russell, SPHR, Senior Recruiter, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center
De Anne Russell has been with St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center for almost 10 years and has served in many different roles including her most recent position of Senor Recruiter. De Anne has had her SPHR certification for more than 10 years and is currently AIRS Certified in Internet sourcing and recruiting.

Holly Schor, Director of Outplacement Services, Jobing.com
Holly Schor joined the Jobing.com Community team in January of 2007 after spending over 9 years in various HR & Recruiting roles. In March of 2009 Holly took on a new role within the organization to develop Outplacing.com. Today Holly spends her time focused on helping companies across the country in transition and working directly with their employees who are being affected by layoffs. Holly helps these organizations and their transitioning employees with coaching and training on today’s job searching process.
