Kevin McHolland joined Ernst & Young’s Columbus, Ohio office in January 1988 in the audit practice upon graduating from The Ohio State University. In April 2006 Kevin was recruited to Phoenix, Arizona to be a part of the management team for an Internet start-up Company as the Controller. The Company was involved in various technologies and was an SEC registrant. In October 2007, Kevin rejoined Ernst & Young in the Phoenix, Arizona office. Kevin was promoted to partner with Ernst & Young in 2002 and serves companies in the technology, software, retail, manufacturer and other industries with a focus on emerging growth companies that are both private and public companies. As a partner in the firm, Kevin is responsible for people, quality and growth initiatives in the Phoenix office. A component of these initiatives includes significant time in the marketplace understanding market activities impacting the firm’s current and prospective client base with a focus on early stage technology companies.

Kevin is responsible for the firm’s continuing relationship with venture capitalists and other similar funding sources and hosts a quarterly roundtable meeting of these members of the Arizona community. Kevin is also very active in the Phoenix community through his contacts in the business community, client service and civic activities. Kevin currently serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix where he has been a past audit committee chair and co-chair of fund raising events.

In 2004, Kevin was selected by the Phoenix Business Journal to be a member of Phoenix’s Forty Under Forty Business Leaders class.

Previously, Kevin served on the board of the Arizona Technology Council from 2002 to 2006. During his service on the board, he was the chair of the Celebration of Innovation Event for two years and prior to that was the co-chair of Council’s venture capital conference.
